Buxton athletics club<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who are we<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Buxton AC is a friendly, inclusive community athletics and running club for ages 7 to 70+. Whether you\u2019re a complete beginner, a regular runner, or an experienced competitor, you\u2019ll find a home here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are proud to have a thriving junior club alongside our senior club, helping young athletes develop confidence, fitness and a love of sport in a fun, supportive environment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Our members enjoy all types of running<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With around 200 members from Buxton and the surrounding area, we\u2019re a diverse and welcoming club brought together by a shared love of running. Founded in 1977 by our president, Chris Bent, Buxton AC has a long tradition of encouraging people of all abilities to achieve their personal best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our members compete across road, fell, cross country and track events at local, regional and national level. You\u2019ll often see Buxton colours at races across the Peak District and beyond \u2014 always proud to represent our town and our club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The club enters the Manchester Area Cross Country League (MACCL). We field competitive male, female and junior teams.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
