Fancy testing out your 5K speed in readiness for the 4 mile Carnival Race? It’s definitely less hilly than the Carnival Race, and ONLY one more lap! A great warm-up for our fabulous Carnival Day race.<\/p>\n
It’s FREE, it’s FRIENDLY, it’s FANTASTIC!! It starts and finishes on Broad Walk, takes in our beautiful Pavilion Gardens for three lovely laps, and is renowned for our amazingly friendly & supportive marshals.\u00a0 Turn up around 8.40\/45 either at the Start (near Roseleigh Hotel) or at the Fountain Street entrance to Broad Walk.\u00a0 There’s no registration, simply turn up and run.\u00a0 You’ll be handed a finishing number at the end (also on Broad Walk), and all we ask is that you take it to the desk and provide your name, age & club so that we can then produce a set of results.<\/p>\n
It’s an England Athletics licenced race, accurately measured, so your results will count for your Powerof10 profile if you’re an EA registered athlete.<\/p>\n
Fancy giving it a go? Or are you doing the Edale or Passing Clouds fell race(s) the following day? If so, how about giving a hand (just an hour of your time) to support and cheer the runners?<\/p>\n
